My First Website made ever!

Im glad to myself that I made my first website. and also it is in the web. For those interested, the URL of the website is http://smccwts-lorenzoruiz0809.bravehost.com . very long URL right? hehe!.the site have been published to the net because of my final presentation to my major subject. this is also serve as my final examination. the construction of the site had been started last January 2009 and published in the World Wide Web last March 2009. Signing of our clearance is going on that time.

At first, It was hard to make the site because of the many codes to encode in the notepad. Take note. I only use notepad and the web browser to construct my website.

my website is undergo with judgment, corrections and suggestions with my instructor. Actually she challenge us to make our website more better and presentable. Not to the extend that it has the javascript on it but present a website using a simple HTML codes. Sometimes, the browsers read the codes of my site really different in the other browser, which sometimes it makes all the website elements disarranged. sometimes it take time to load some of the data on each HTML pages, most especially in the Gallery section. the web hosting status is FREE. meaning, you will not pay every month just to published the site. Thanks to my classmate and friend who assist me to published my website in the World Wide Web.

the purpose of the website is to show the works and the way to implement our projects to our partner family. the site contains the information in our project proposal, project implementation , members and our photos while we are there every Saturday. the site also provide the sample information for the future CWTS students most especially for those who will be assign in the marginalized community.

2009 New Year's Resolution

I have many resolutions that I have made through the years and many of them was successfully done. One of those is going to school early and studying well. but also, I have also some resolutions that not done because of lack of my desires and inspiration to do it. I have only few resolutions to make this whole year around, so the flow for this year will have a sense of sweet and spice that will make everything nice!

2009 is a tough year as one of the feng shui experts said a while ago. Expecting for this year that they will be calamities and financial crisis (Simba ko!)
I have only five resolutions, they are the following:

thriftiness,
balance everything around me,
and more responsible

for me, all of these will make my whole year around a satisfied one.

My First Ever College Intrams Expectation

Intramurals is the event which known for sports events, cheering, and excitement. But it is not only for these but also the spirit of unity among the group. Like what they said “ no unity, no intrams”.

I experienced the intramurals when I was still a high school student. I experienced the unity as we fight for the champion crown. Now, I'm a college student, I expect that most of the members will participate.

In the history of St. Mary's College, BSCS is fused with BSHM. Today, BSCS is separate with BSHM because of the reason of no activities reserve with our fellow comsci students.

December 4, to 7, 2008 is the date of the intramurals. So, we made our practice everyday in the different outdoor and indoor games. Also in power dance and dance sports. We prepare our selves on what ever the challenges we face for.

As the preparation for the said event, we ask to pay P116.00 for the expenses we will used like uniforms for our athletes, snacks, water and other expenses related. Because of what they said “lisod na mangita og kuwarta”. The majority of our members is hard to pay the said amount which is one of the major problem.

Many of my classmates are active in both sports and dance. Like Ms. Ma. Alona Lacia, a softball player of the BSCS is also interested in dancing, so she decided to take two events. There are some who is not active in the said event.

My opinion in the said event is, if we are one as a team. We will made it in the top. Even though it will be a tough competition between the giant departamental programs like nursing, combaks!, and BSHM. I believe that we BSCS is deserve to be separated from BSHM and also deserves the best of it.
